Tato práce se zaměřuje na způsoby, jakými je konstruována feminita nebo feminity v české a španělské verzi časopisu Cosmopolitan, což je jeden z nejznámějších lifestylových časopisů, vydávaný v různých zemích světa. Cílem je zjistit, jak časopis pracuje s ženstvím a jak se od sebe liší tyto dvě jazykové verze na základě odlišeného historicko-kulturního kontextu v obou zemích. K analýze materiálů byla vybrána metoda členské kategorizační analýzy. Teoretická část představí nejen sociálně konstruktivistický přístup k problematice genderu, ale také dějiny ženy jak v Česku, tak ve Španělsku. Analytická část pak bude obsahovat jednotlivé kategorie, jejich vlastnosti a kategoriálně vázané aktivity.This thesis focuses on the ways of the construction of femininity or femininities in Czech and Spanish versions of the Cosmopolitan magazine, one of the most popular magazines, which is being published in many countries all over the world. The aim is to find out how does the magazine work with the femininity and how are these two different language versions similar to one another, regarding the cultural-historical context of both countries. The membership categorization analysis was chosen for the research. The theoretical part deals with the explanation of the social constructivist approach to the gender concept and the gender history in the Czech Republic and Spain. The analytical part contains particular categories, their characteristics and category-bound activities.
