Ve své diplomové práci se zaměřujeme na dílo Arnona Grunberga v češtině. Grunberg je současný nizozemský autor, od kterého byly do češtiny přeložené čtyři romány. Pro tuto práci byly vybrány dvě knihy Modré pondělky přeložené od Veroniky ter Harmsel Havlíkové a Fantomová bolest od Magdy de Bruin-Hüblové. Cílem této práce je přiblížit a v rámci možností porovnat oba překlady do češtiny. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část obsahuje informace o Arnonu Grunbergovi a jeho vztahu k České republice. Dále sem spadají informace o obou vybraných románech, překladatelkách a obecná pravidla pro překládání beletrie. Praktická část se skládá z několika kapitol, které se zabývají morfologií, syntaxem, stylistikou, sémantikou a lexikologií. Jednotlivé kapitoly jsou doplněny příklady z obou knih. V poslední kapitole jsou vybrány shodné výrazy v Modrých pondělcích a Fantomové bolesti a porovnány jejich české ekvivalenty. V příloze je pak přiložen vlastní překlad Grunbergovy povídky Het meesterwerk.My thesis is focused on the work of Arnon Grunberg in Czech. Grunberg is the current Dutch author and his four books were translated into Czech. Two books were chosen for this thesis Blue Mondays translated by Veronika ter Harmsel Havlíková and Phantom Pain translated by Magda de Bruin-Hüblová. The aim of this work is to approach and compare two translations into Czech. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part contains information about Arnon Grunberg and his relationship to the Czech Republic. Furthermore, there is an information about two novels, translaters and general rules of translation. The practical part consists of several chapters morphology, syntax, stylistics, lexicology and semantics. Each chapter is completed by examples from both books. In the last chapter are selected some identical words from Blue Mondays and Phantom Pain and they are compared with their Czech equivalents. My translation of Grunbergs story Het meesterwerk is supplemented at the end of this thesis.
