Tato práce si klade za cíl popsat názory pracovníků Probační a mediační služby na genderové odlišnosti v ukládání, vykonávání a přístupu k alternativním trestům. V současnosti je téma genderu velice aktuální a jeho propojení s alternativními tresty ještě není tolik zkoumané. V této práci jde především o náhled na tuto problematiku optikou lidí, kteří denně přicházejí do styku s pachateli trestných činů obou pohlaví a mohou tak posoudit rozdíly, které mezi ženami a muži spatřují. Práce se skládá ze tří částí. První dvě jsou teoretické a konkrétněji pojednávají o tématech kriminality, genderových stereotypů, pohlaví pachatelů a pojmech jako je trest, sexismus či oběť trestného činu, a jsou zde také popsány jednotlivé alternativní tresty. Třetí část je tvořena kvalitativním výzkumem, který byl proveden formou polostrukturovaného interview s pracovníky Probační a mediační služby ve středisku v Olomouci a v Prostějově. Sesbíraná data byla analyzována metodou vytváření trsů a následně zaznamenána a seřazena podle podobnosti odpovědí respondentů. Výsledky výzkumu pak byly srovnány s pohledem genderových východisek.The aim of this work is to describe the opinions of workers of the Probation and Mediation Service about the gender differences in storage, prosecution and attitude to alternative punishment. Nowadays, gender is quite current topic. There are very few experiences and researches especially in connection with the alternative punishments. This work is focused on the topic of gender within alternative punishments in the point of view of social workers who are in everyday contact with offenders of both sexes so they can assess the differences between women and men. The work consists of three parts. The first two of them are theoretical and try to explain the topic of criminality, gender stereotypes, sex offenders and concepts such as punishment, sexism or victim of a crime. There are also described some of the alternative punishments. The third part consists of qualitative research which was made by semi-structured interviews with employees of the Probation and Mediation Service in Olomouc and Prostějov. The answers were analysed and sorted according to the similarity of some facts in their responses. The results of the research were compared with the view of gender aspects.
