Tato bakalářská práce chce na vybraných knihách Starého zákona ukázat aktuálnost biblického textu i pro dnešní dobu a možnosti práce s Biblí v psychoterapii. Je rozčleněna do tří kapitol. První kapitola stručně seznamuje s okolnostmi vzniku Bible a jejím významem pro evropskou i tuzemskou kulturu. V druhé kapitole je představen nový směr existenciální psychoterapie, hagioterapie. Poslední kapitola je věnována výkladu knihy Jonáš a knihy Job z pohledu teologie a z pohledu hagioterapie.This thesis wants the selected books of the Old Testament to show that biblical text is relevant to the present times and that it is possible to work with the Bible in psychotherapy. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter briefly introduces the circumstances of the origin of the Bible and its significance for European and domestic culture. The second chapter presents a new method in existential psychotherapy called Hagiotherapy. The last chapter is devoted to the interpretation of the Book of Jonah and the Book of Job from the perspective of theology and from the perspective of Hagiotherapy.
