Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o výtvarném art brut u mentálně postižených. První kapitoly jsou zaměřeny na terminologii, která se jeví jako významově nestálá, a na světový a český historický kontext, ve kterém se prolíná art brut s jinými výtvarnými vyjádřeními. Mezi vybranými výtvarnými projevy a art brut, a sice mezi naivním uměním, medijní tvorbou, surrealismem a explosionalismem, je vedena paralela, která odkrývá podobné a odlišné aspekty tvorby. Další kapitola definuje osobu s mentálním postižením a ve stručnosti se zaměřuje na její specifika. Praktická část je zaměřena na interpretaci konkrétních výtvarných prací, ve kterých je poukázáno na aspekty tvorby, které by přispěly k rehabilitaci výtvarné tvorby osob s mentálním postižením.The thesis deals with the art "Art Brut" of mentally handicapped people. First chapters focus on terminology, which seems to be semantically unstable, and on the Czech and world historical context in which Art Brut mingles with other art expressions. Between Art Brut and selected artistic expressions, namely the primitivism, mediumistic works, surrealism and explosionalism is kept a parallel that shows both similar and different aspects of the works. Another chapter defines a person with mental disabilities and briefly focus on his specifics. The practical part is focused on the interpretation of specific works of art, in which attention is paid to aspects of the work that would contribute to the rehabilitation of visual art of mentally handicapped people.
