Prenatální screening aneuploidií a dalších vrozených vývojových vad prošel za posledních čtyřicet let velkými změnami. Cílem bakalářské práce je podat informace o vývoji jednotlivých screeningových metod. Podrobně se zabývá zejména prvotrimestrálními programy a novými objevy vedoucími k detekci řady těhotenských komplikací již v tomto období gravidity. Práce je zaměřená na dostatečnou informovanost porodních asistentek pracujících v oboru prenatální diagnostiky. Znalosti jim usnadní orientaci v problematice a umožní poskytnutí relevantních infomací těhotným ženám.Prenatal screening for aneuploidies and other congenital defects underwent major changes in the last forty years. The aim of this work is to give an overview of the development of different methods of screening. It deals in detail with the screening in the first trimester and the new methods leading to the detection of various pregnancy complications at this stage of pregnancy. The work will be a good source of information for midwifes working in the field of prenatal diagnosis. Their knowledge and awareness will facilitie an understanding of possible problems and will help them to provide adequate and relevant information for pregnant women.
