Přehledová bakalářská práce předkládá publikované studie o charakteristice, incidence, stagingu a současných možnostech léčby maligního melanomu. Cílem práce je sumarizace poznatků, které nás informují o tom, co to je maligní melanom, jak vzniká, o jeho výskytu v České republice a v zahraničí, o tom jaké máme možnosti testů a vyšetření, dále o léčebných metodách a v neposlední řadě o novinkách v léčbě. Poznatky o této problematice byly dohledány v odborných českých, slovenských a zahraničních periodikách a na internetových stránkách.This overview thesis presents published studies about the characteristic, the occurence, the staging and the current possibilities of treatment of malignant melanoma. The aim of this thesis is a summarization of publishing knowledge, which inform us of the meaning, creating, occuring in the Czech republic and abroad, the possibilities of testing anf investigating, treatment methods and in the end of the news about treatment in malignant melanoma. The knowledge about this issue were found in the specialized czech, slovek and foreign journals and websites.
