Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o investigativní žurnalistice v českém mediálním prostředí. Nejprve je investigativní žurnalistika teoreticky vymezena, jsou shrnuta kritéria tohoto oboru, nastíněn je i historický vývoj, a to v americkém prostředí, ale i v tuzemském. Práce zahrnuje soupis formátů a žánrů investigativní žurnalistiky v českém mediálním prostředí. Další kapitola jmenuje významné právní aspekty investigativní žurnalistiky. Čtvrtá kapitola se zabývá dvěma konkrétními mediálními kauzami z českého mediálního prostředí, které mohou být považovány za práci investigativní žurnalistiky. Jde o případ neúplného majetkového přiznání bývalého ministra kultury Jiřího Bessera a propojení exministra dopravy Víta Bárty s detektivní agenturou ABL. Kapitola nastoluje kritéria, podle nichž je míra investigace posouzena. A nakonec jsou oba případy konfrontovány s těmito kritérii, na jejichž základě je rozhodnuto o tom, zdali se jedná o investigativní žurnalistiku či nikoliv.This thesis deals with investigative reporting in the Czech media environment. At first investigative reporting is defined theoretically, the criterions of this discipline are summarized, the historical context is mentioned in the American environment and in the Czech environment, too. The thesis includes an inventory of the formats and the genres of investigative reporting in the Czech media environment. The next chapter lists the important legal aspects of investigative reporting. The fourth chapter deals with the specific media case of the Czech media environment which can be considered as a work of investigative journalism. It is a case of the incomplete declares their assets of the former Minister of Culture Jiří Besser and the connection between the former Minister of Transport Vít Bárta and the detective agency ABL. The chapter raises the criterions; a degree of the investigation is assessed according to them. And finally the both cases are confronted with this criterions; it is decided on the basis of that criterions, if it is investigative reporting or not.
