Tématem diplomové práce je výzkum komunity kolem slashové fanouškovské fikce fandomu Harry Potter v českém prostředí. Cílem práce je popis této skupiny utvořené kolem specifické části fanouškovské produkce - slashové fikce. Práce teoreticky vychází z oblasti fan studies a také konceptů heteronormativity, genderu a queer. Pro výzkum je použita metoda kvalitativních rozhovorů se 14 respondentkami a následná interpretace. Na základě rozhovorů text popisuje fungování jedinců v rámci komunity, životní cyklus zájmu o slash, vztah respondentů k textům a také různé druhy motivací, které definují pro čtení a psaní slashe. Slash jako specifický žánr poskytuje respondentkám prostor pro kreativní tvorbu, relaxaci a zábavu a v neposlední řadě uvědomělé i neuvědomělé překračování a testování hranic heteronormativity a genderu.Theme of this work is research of the community formed around slash fan fiction in Harry Potter fandom in Czech language area. The goal of this text is description of the group formed around specific kind of fan production ? slash fiction. This work is theoretically based on fan studies and concepts of heteronormativity, gender and queer. The qualitative method of interviews with 14 participants and interpretation is used for research. Based on interviews the text describes functioning of participants in community, life cycle of interest in slash, relationship of participants and texts and different kinds of motivations described by participants for reading and writing of slash. Slash as a specific genre give to participants space for creative work, relaxation and fun and last but not least conscious and unconscious crossing and testing of heteronormativity and gender.
