Předkládaná bakalářská práce shrnuje široké téma kavárenské literatury a kavárenské kultury. Také představuje typické rysy kavárenské literatury. V práci se zabývám počátkem pití kávy v Rakousku a historií uměleckých kaváren ve Vídni, jejich vybavením a hosty, především umělci. Vybrala jsem tři typické vídeňské kavárny (Café Central, Café Herrenhof a Café Hawelka), tři autory kavárenské literatury (Petera Altenberga, Friedricha Torberga a H. C. Artmanna) a od každého jsem vybrala krátkou prózu, ve které se odráží vztah autora k příslušné kavárně. Nakonec jsem nastínila dnešní situaci vídeňských kaváren.This bachelor thesis summarizes the extensive topic of the Cafeteria literature and culture and also focuses on the beginning of the coffee consumption in Austria together with the history of the Artist´s cafés in the capital city, Vienna, especially, their equipment and guests, primarily artists. I chose three representatives of the Vienna´s cafés (Café Central, Café Herrenhof a Café Hawelka), three authors of the Cafeteria literature (Petera Altenberga, Friedricha Torberga a H. C. Artmanna) and from each of them I picked a prose, which reflects the relationship between the given author and the café. Eventually, I suggested an outline of the situation of contemporary Vienna´s cafés.
