Tato práce je analýzou československého diskurzu 60. až konce 80. let, utvářejícího se kolem tématu socializačního vlivu pořadů pro děti a mládež vysílaných Československou televizí. Sledovány jsou především názory a diskuze týkající se výchovných a vzdělávacích cílů těchto pořadů, metody a doporučené způsoby jejich tvorby, navrhované a realizované mediálně-výchovné praktiky a hodnocení jejich účinků. Práce se zabývá také rolí televize jako výchovného nástroje a jeho uplatňováním v rámci mimoškolní výchovy. Pro dosažení stanoveného cíle byla použita analýza historických dokumentů. Jednalo se zejména o publikace, které byly vydány ve sledovaném období, odborné publikace a studie autorů zaměřujících svou činnost na výchovu a vzdělávání, publikace vydané pracovníky Československé televize, interní dokumenty Československé televize a odborné a populárně- naučné časopisy. Z rozboru daných dokumentů bylo zjištěno postavení hromadných sdělovacích prostředků vůči škole, role televize v podmínkách tehdejší politické situace, pozice a úkoly pracovníků televize, pedagogických a výchovných pracovníků a rodičů. Dále byla věnována pozornost také tomu, jaké místo televize zaujímala ve volném čase dětí a mládeže a jaké konkrétní pořady vstupovaly do jejich každodenního života. Zde byly sledovány zejména cíle a úkoly, které měly tyto pořady naplňovat. Výsledná interpretace jednotlivých aspektů diskurzu socializačního působení pořadů pro děti a mládež poskytuje nástin toho, jak byly tyto cíle navrhovány, stanovovány a realizovány v kontextu dané doby, jak byla hodnocena tehdejší situace kolem hromadných sdělovacích prostředků, zejména televize, a jak o této situaci pojednávali tehdejší pracovníci v oblasti výchovy, vzdělávání a televizního vysílání.This thesis is the analysis of the Czechoslovak discourse from the 1960s until the end of the 1980s being created around the subject of the socializing impact of programmes for children and youth broadcasted by the Czechoslovak Television. Opinions and discussions concerning educational and instructional targets of these programmes, methods and recommended ways of their creation, proposed and implemented media and educational practices and the evaluation of their effects are monitored here. The thesis also deals with the role of television as an educational tool and its application in after-school upbringing. In order to achieve the set target, the analysis of historical documents was used. It included especially publications that were published in the monitored period, specialized publications and studies of authors focusing their activities on upbringing and education, publications published by the Czech Television staff, internal documents of the Czech Television and specialized and popular science magazines. The position of mass media towards school has been ascertained from the analysis of the given documents as well as the role of television under the conditions of the political situation at that time, positions and tasks of television staff, pedagogical and educational employees and parents. Further, the attention was paid to the fact what position was held by television in leisure time of children and youth and what specific programmes entered their everyday life. Such targets and tasks were particularly pursued here that these programmes should have fulfilled. The resulting interpretation of the individual aspects of the discourse of the socializing impact of programmes for children and youth provides the outline of how these targets were proposed, determined and implemented in the context of the given period, how the situation at that time around mass media was assessed, especially television, and how employees in the sphere of upbringing, education and television broadcasting at that time dealt with this situation.
