Cílem práce je představit výklad zázraků jako jevů s přirozenými příčinami, tak jak jej předkládá Nicole Oresme v díle De causis mirabilium. Práce se skládá z obecné části, která zasazuje dílo do kontextu 14. století a prezentuje myšlenkové koncepce nezbytné pro jeho správné pochopení, a z rozboru De causis mirabilium. Ten spočívá v prezentaci jednotlivých problémů, jimiž se dílo zabývá, ve shrnutí Oresmeho postupu a v určení základních argumentů, kterými autor dokazuje přirozený a nikoliv supranaturální původ diskutovaných jevů. V závěru práce je nastíněna recepce díla pozdějšími autory.The objective of this work is to introduce Nicole Oresme's explanation of miracles as phenomena with natural causes, as presented in his De causis mirabilium. In the first part, Oresme's work is discussed in relation to the context of the 14th century and intellectual concepts which are necessary for proper understanding of the De causis. The second part consists of an analysis of the De causis, which comprises of a presentation of the individual problems that are dealt with in the text, of a resume of Oresme's method, and of identifying the main arguments used to prove the natural origin of the discussed phenomena, rather than supernatural. In the last part, the reception of the De causis by later authors is outlined.
