Cílem této práce je srovnání španělštiny, kterou se v dnešní době mluví na Kanárských ostrovech, a spisovné španělštiny z Iberského poloostrova. Hlavním cílem je obeznámení čtenáře se skutečností, že kanárská španělština se značně liší od té spisovné. V rámci práce jsou pak vymezeny hlavní a nejdůležitější charakteristiky, jež daný dialekt utvářejí. K přesnému pochopení příčin odlišnosti těchto dvou jazyků je potřeba alespoň zběžné uvedení do historie Kanárských ostrovů a tamních původních obyvatel, především pak jejich jazyka. První kapitola tedy popisuje stručný historický vývoj Ostrovů a je následována kapitolou o studiích, kronikách a jiných zdrojích informací týkajících se jazyka a kultury Guančů. Na Guančům, tedy původním obyvatelům, a jejich jazyku je věnována kapitola třetí. Následuje krátký přehled jevů z jiných jazyků, jako například angličtina nebo portugalština, které rovněž ovlivnily kanárskou španělštinu. Další část bakalářské práce je zaměřena na vlastní jazykovou stránku kanárské španělštiny a srovnává ji se spisovnou španělštinou napříč jazykovými složkami lexikálními, fonetickými a morfosyntaktickými. V samotném závěru práce je pak lingvisticky analyzován úryvek textu, nesoucí charakteristické znaky kanárské španělštiny. Práce by měla čtenáře obeznámit s jednotlivými rozdíly obou modalit a připravit je na případný kontakt se španělštinou, hojně se vyskytující na kanárském souostroví.The objective of this thesis is to provide a compariton of the vernacular form of Spanish language spoken on the Canary Islands with the standard literary form. The main goal is to present the substantial difference between the two forms. Hereafter, the most important features of the dialect are presented. To understand the causes of the disparity between the two variants of the language, it is essential to include at least a brief introduction to the history of the Canary Islands, its inhabitants and their language. The first chapter therefore describes the historical development of the Islands, and is followed by a section on the sources of information concerning the Guanches. The third chapter is focused on the Guanches, the native inhabitants of the Canary Islands, and their language. In the following part, the paper offers an overview of the influences from foreign languages, such as English and Portuguese, on Canarian Spanish. In the next chapter, the paper focuses on the language itself, and compares the vernacular with the standard form throughout the phonetical, morpho-syntactical and lexical layers of language. In the final part, a short fragment in Canarian Spanish is analysed. This thesis tries to introduce its readers to the differences between the two modalities and provide substantial information for the possible contact with the Canarian Spanish.
