Cílem tohoto textu je podat analýzu vývoje obyvatelstva v obcích okresu Olomouc v letech 2001-2011. Hodnoceny jsou základní demografické charakteristiky obyvatelstva, jimiž jsou struktury a dynamika obyvatelstva. Výsledky charakteristik jsou komparovány s hodnotami České republiky. Naznačena je také projekce vývoje počtu obyvatelstva v okrese Olomouc do roku 2020.The aim of this text is to provide an analysis of the evolution of the population in the municipalities of the district of Olomouc in the years 2001-2011. It evaluated the basic demographic characteristics of the population which are the structures and dynamics of the population. Achieved results characteristics are compared with those of the whole Czech Republic. It contains also the expected evolution of the number of inhabitants in the district of Olomouc up to the year 2020.
