Práce se zabývá odborným sociálním poradenstvím pro osoby se zrakovým postižením, zejména pak popisem vybraných aspektů této sociální služby. Autorka popisuje aspekty obecných podmínek pro výkon poradenství, aspekty komunikace a aspekty fází poradenství. Dále jsou v práci charakterizovány specifické potřeby osob se zrakovým postižením, které mohou být naplňovány pomocí metody odborného sociálního poradenství. Základní metodou práce je sekundární zpracování zdrojů, výzkum je prováděn kvantitativní výzkumnou strategií. Autorka vychází z hlavní hypotézy, která předpokládá, že specifické potřeby osob se zrakovým postižením jsou v rámci odborného sociálního poradenství rozloženy do pěti základních oblastí. Hlavním závěrem práce je zjištění, že specifické potřeby cílové skupiny se v rámci zkoumané sociální služby týkají oblasti kompenzačních pomůcek, sociálního zabezpečení, informací o dalších sociálních službách pro osoby se zrakovým postižením, odstraňování architektonických bariér a spolupráce s rodinnými příslušníky osob se zrakovým postižením. Praktickým výstupem práce je informační brožura, jejíž použití autorka doporučuje institucím, které mohou poskytovat odborné sociální poradenství cílové skupině.The thesis deals with description of selected aspects of expert social counselling devoted to the people with visual disorders. The author describes the aspects of general conditions for the counselling performance, the aspects of communication and the aspects of the counselling phases. Further the thesis describes the specific needs of the persons with visual impairment, which can be satisfied via the method of the expert social counselling. The basic working method is secondary elaboration of sources, research is performed via quantitative research strategy. The author builds on the main hypothesis presuming that the specific needs of the visually impaired people within the expert social counselling are divided into five basic areas. The main output of the thesis covers the finding that the specific needs of the target group within the inspected social service regard the area of assistive devices, social security, information on other social services for the visually impaired persons, adaptation of architectonic barriers and cooperation with family members of a visually impaired person. The practical output of this thesis is an information brochure, which is recommended by the author to be used in the institutions, which can provide the expert social counselling to the target group.
