Práca sa zaoberá jazykovými postojmi mladých obyvateľov mesta Valencia. V teoretickej časti definujeme jazykové postoje a ďalšie základné pojmy, ktoré s nimi bezprostredne súvisia, ako je prestíž a bilingvizmus. Zmieňujeme pôvod a príčiny onomastického problému valencijského jazyka, jeho ukotvenie v súčasnom zákonodarstve a školskom systéme, charakterizujeme aktuálnu sociolingvistickú situáciu v Autonómnej oblasti Valencia. Druhá časť je venovaná výskumnej aktivite, vykonanej na základe dotazníkov vyplnených mladými obyvateľmi mesta Valencia.The thesis deals with the linguistic attitudes of young population of Valencia. In the theoretical part we define the linguistic attitude and other basic terms that are connected with them, like prestige and bilingualism. We mention the origin and causes of the onomastic specifics of the Valencian language, its setting in the legislation and the educational system. We try to characterize the actual sociolinguistic situation in the Autonomous Community of Valencia. The second part of the thesis is composed of the research based on questionnaires filled in by young residents of the city of Valencia.
