Bakalářská práce analyzuje postavení kandidátů Front National (FN) v prezidentských volbách ve Francii v roce 2002 a 2012. V prezidentských volbách 2002 v čele extremistické strany kandiduje Jean-Marie Le Pen. V roce 2011 je po více než 30 letech Jean-Marie Le Pen vystřídán v čele strany svou dcerou Marine Le Pen. Ta se poprvé prezidentské volby účastnila v dubnu 2012. Marine v 1. kole prezidentské volby překonává svého otce a připisuje historický úspěch FN. Hlavním cílem práce bylo sledovat podobnosti a odlišnosti těchto dvou lídrů, včetně porovnání změn v elektorátu FN v prezidentských volbách 2002 a 2012. Práce vychází z teoretického rámce postindustriální strany, která nejen svou antiimigrační rétorikou podkopává základy demokratického systému. Práce analyzuje, jak změna ve stylu leadershipu ovlivnila posun hlasů ve prospěch Marine Le Pen.The Bachelor thesis analyzes the position of the French National Front's leaders in the presidential elections in the years 2002 and 2012. In the 2002 presidential election the leader of National Front was Jean-Marie Le Pen. . Jean-Marie Le Pen was replaced after serving more than 30 years. Later in January 2011, his daughter ,Marine Le Pen, became officially a leader of the National Front. Soon after in the 2012 presidential election Marine Le Pen gained 17.9 % of the votes which meant a historical victory for National Front party. This thesis examines the model of the National Front during the leadership of Jean-Marie Le Pen during the 2002 presidential election in comparison of the leadership of Marine Le Pen during the 2012 presidential election. This thesis is based on theoretical framework of the post-industrial extreme right party which was in danger of democracy and the influence of democratic institutions.
