Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou péče o seniory v České republice. Teoretická část, na základě provedené rešerše dostupné odborné literatury, shrnuje poznatky o stáří a stárnutí, komplexní péči o seniory a poskytování služeb v sociální a neziskové sféře. Praktická část zahrnuje analýzy sloužící ke zjištění současné situace v poskytování sociálních služeb pro seniory ve městě Prostějov. Je zde zhodnoceno i realizované dotazníkové šetření mezi obyvateli města Prostějov. Provedené analýzy slouží jako podklad pro projekt vybudování centra denních služeb pro seniory v Olomouckém kraji. Závěrem je stanovena časová, nákladová a riziková analýza tohoto projektu.This thesis deals with the issue of the care for the elderly in the Czech Republic. Its theoretical part summarises, based on research of the available bibliography, the currrent knowledge of aging and old age, complex care for the elderly and provision of services in the social service and non-profit sector. The practical part includes analyses the aim of which was to determine the current situation with regard to the provision of social services to the elderly in the town of Prostějov. A questionnaire-based survey among the citizens of Prostějov is evaluated in this part as well. Said analyses will serve as backround information for a project of a daily services center for the elderly in the Olomouc Region. A feasibility study of the project with regard to timeframe, costs and risks is included.
