Diplomová práce se zabývá novým uspořádáním regulace a dohledu nad finančním trhem v Evropské unii. V první kapitole vymezuje základní pojmy, kterými jsou finanční trh, instrumenty finančního trhu a subjekty, které na tomto trhu působí. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na teoretické aspekty regulace a dohledu, popisuje modely regulace a dohledu nad finančním trhem s jejich klady a zápory. Třetí kapitola se již zabývá regulací a dohledu nad finančním trhem v Evropské unii. Nastiňuje počátky tohoto vývoje, vznik měnové unie a situaci před propuknutím finanční krize, v níž byl nejvýznamnějším prvkem regulatorních mechanismů Lamfalussyho proces. Dále se tato kapitola zaměřuje na vznik Evropského systému finančního dohledu s jeho dohledovými orgány působícími na mikro a makro úrovni, jehož impulsem k vzniku byla finanční krize. Také se zabývá vznikem Evropského stabilizačního mechanismu. V závěrečné kapitole je analyzována bankovní unie, její pilíře, na kterých má být vybudována, současný vývoj, přínosy a úskalí, které s sebou přináší. Nakonec je prezentována pozice České republiky ke vzniku bankovní unie.Thesis deals with the reorganization of the regulation and supervision of financial markets in the European Union. The first chapter defines the basic concepts, which are the financial market, money market instruments and entities in that market. The second chapter focuses on the theoretical aspects of regulation and supervision, describes models of regulation and supervision of financial market and their pros and cons. The third chapter is concerned with the regulation and supervision of financial market in the European Union. It outlines the beginnings of this development, the emergence of the monetary union and the situation before the outbreak of the financial crisis, which was the most important element of the regulatory mechanisms of the Lamfalussy process. In addition, this chapter focuses on the emergence of the European System of Financial Supervisors of the supervisory authorities operating at the micro and macro level, the impuls to the creation of the financial crisis. It also deals with the creation of the European Stability Mechanism. The final chapter analyzes the banking union, its pillars on which it is built, current development , the benefits and pitfalls that come with it. Finally, the presented position of the Czech Republic to the creation of the banking union.
