The aim of this work was to find out the differences in perception of traffic signs between the experienced and inexperienced drivers, to find out if the working of secondary information overload considerably influences both groups and to find out if there will be statistically distinguished difference between groups when using the secondary informational stress and without its usage. The quantitative research was chosen for the purposes of this work. The experimental group was achieved by the selection on the bases of voluntariness or on the incidental selection. Data collected from the participants were gained by means of questionnaire and by means of the usage of the Eye Tracker. After the statistical data evaluation there was found out that in the suspense file, which was the total amount of fixations, the amount of fixations in one second, the average length of fixations (m/s), the length of the flowline among fixations (px), the length of the fixation of the traffic signs (m/s) and the amount of fixations of the traffic signs, there is not any statistically important difference between both of tested groups. While using the secondary information overload, both groups showed the significant difference as compared with the situation without using the secondary information overload. There was no significant difference between both groups while using the secondary information overload. This work could become a base for the following research and also for the prevention considering the field of functioning of the secondary information overload.
