Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na historicko-geografický vývoj měst Šumperk a Zábřeh, a to od 19. století po současnost. Důraz je kladen zejména na to, jakým způsobem se vyvíjel historicko-geografický vývoj ve zmiňovaných městech. Pro porovnání tohoto vývoje v minulosti a současnosti sloužila veškerá použitá literatura. Také byly využity Císařské otisky stabilního katastru Moravy a Slezska, dále vojenské letecké snímky a ortofota. Pro vymezené období byly stanoveny čtyři časové horizonty, které se srovnávají díky mapám vzniklým ve zmiňovaném programu ArcGIS 9.3 společnosti ESRI.Diploma thesis focuses on the historical-geographical development of the cities Šumperk and Zábřeh, and it from 19th century to the present. The emphasis is put on it how is developed the historical-geographical development in the mentioned cities. To compare this evolution in the past and present served all used literature. Also have been used Imperial imprints of a stable cadastre of Moravia and Silesia, as well as military aerial photos and orthophotos. For a limited period defined four time horizons, which are compared thanks maps incurred in the mentioned programme ArcGIS 9.3., ESRI.
