Tato práce se zabývá analýzou transtextuality v japonském filmu Café Lumi?re tchaj-wanského režiséra Hou Hsiao-Hsiena. Zaměřuje se převážně na jeho vztah k filmu Příběh z Tokia režiséra Jasudžiró Ozua a k japonské kulturní tradici v širším kontextu. Činí tak na základě teoretického konceptu strukturalisty Gerarda Genetta, přičemž z pěti jím jmenovaných transtextuálních vztahů se věnuje pouze třem hypertextualitě, intertextualitě a architextualitě, V jednotlivých analýzách se dále opírá o neoformalistickou analýzu podle Davida Bordwella, článek Film a teorie intertextuality Michaila Jampolského a teoretické texty japanologa Antonína Límana.The thesis deals with the analysis of transtextuality in Japanese movie Café Lumi?re by Taiwanese director Hou Hsiao-Hsien. The main focus of the thesis is to explore the relation of this movie to Yasujiro Ozu´s picture Tokyo Story as well as to Japanese cultural tradition in larger sense. This relation is explored by the use of three out of five transtextual relations defined on the basis of structualist theoretical approach of Gerard Genette, namely hypertextuality, intertextuality and architextuality. The individual analyses are further theoretically grounded in Neo-formalist approach of David Bordwell, the article Film and Theory of Intertextuality by Michail Jampolsky and theoretical texts of japanologist Antonin Liman.
