Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza a komparace inovačního prostředí v České republice a ve Francii. Inovace hrají důležitou roli pro konkurenceschopnost podniků a zemí, na což by se mělo pamatovat v čase ekonomické krize. První kapitola se zabývá pojmem inovace, jeho historií a řízením inovací. Druhá a třetí kapitola popisují inovační politiky těchto dvou zemí a zkoumají jejich konkurenceschopnost z hlediska inovací v kontextu Evropské unie a jejích politik.The aim of this thesis is to analyse and compare the innovation environment in the Czech Republic and France. Innovation plays an important role in the competitiveness of entreprises and countries, what should be remembered in times of economic crises. The first chapter deals with the concept of innovation, its history and with the innovation management. The second and third chapter describe innovation policies of these two countries and examine their competitiveness in the context of the European Union and its policies.
