Cílem této diplomové práce je literární analýza díla Teatro de circunstancias od Maxe Auba. Jedná se o soubor osmi divadelních her napsaných v letech 1935-1937. První část práce přibližuje vývoj španělské divadelní scény od vyhlášení Druhé republiky až po vypuknutí Španělské občanské války. Druhá kapitola shrnuje život a dílo Maxe Auba. Následuje kapitola věnovaná charakteristice teatro de urgencia, podžánru propagandistického divadla. Odraz propagandy republikánského Španělska dále analyzujeme na příkladu Teatro de circunstancias, zabýváme se jazykovou stránkou her i zobrazením války ve vybraných dramatech. Další část práce pojednává o moderním pojetí středověkého auto sacramental ve hře Pedro López García. Poslední kapitola diplomové práce se zaměřuje na zobrazení ženských postav v dramatech Maxe Auba.The aim of this thesis is the literary analysis of Max Aub?s Teatro de circunstancias, a collection of eight plays written in 1935-1937. The first part describes the development of the Spanish theatre from the proclamation of the Second Spanish Republic to the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War. The second chapter summarizes the life and work of Max Aub. Next chapter deals with the characterization of teatro de urgencia, subgenre of propaganda theatre. We analyse the reflection of republican propaganda by the example of Teatro de circunstancias, we study the linguistic aspects of the plays and the portray of the war in selected dramas. The next part deals with the modern conception of medieval auto sacramental in the play Pedro López García. The last chapter of the thesis focuses on the representation of female characters in dramas of Max Aub.
