Veškeré poznatky ve své diplomové práci člením do pěti kapitol. První kapitola obsahuje úvod do problematiky obsahující vývoj postavení nezaopatřeného dítěte v podobě stručného historického exkurzu. V téže kapitole uvádím také postavení dítěte v jiných právních odvětvích a především v mezinárodních úmluvách týkajících se dítěte. V druhé kapitole se zabývám samotným pojmem dítě a nezaopatřené dítě. Třetí, čtvrtá a pátá kapitola pak obsahují postavení nezaopatřeného dítěte v jednotlivých pilířích práva sociálního zabezpečení. Kapitola upravující sociální pojištění zmiňuje sirotčí a vdovský/vdovecký důchod. V téže kapitole zmiňuji i problematiku zdravotního pojištění, kdy za nezaopatřené dítě je plátcem pojistného na zdravotní pojištění stát. Následující kapitola se zabývá státní sociální podporou a dávkami na které může mít nezaopatřené dítě nárok. Poslední kapitola týkající se třetího pilíře-sociální pomoci a především jeho části pomoci v hmotné nouzi uvádím stručněji, neboť zde dítě není přímým adresátem žádné z dávek. Práce je doplněna o příklady a statistiku.All knowledge gained during writing my thesis is divided into five main chapters. The introduction, conclusion and summary are not included in those chapters. First chapter contains the introduction to the issues of dependent child development in the form of brief historical digression. In the same chapter I am also mentioning the status of the child in the different law branches and especially in the international treaties regarding the child. In the second chapter I am dealing with the main part of this thesis and that is the term of dependent child and also the term of child in general. Third, fourth and fifth chapter contains the status of dependent child in all three pillars of social security law. The chapter regarding the social insurance is mentioning the orphan pension and widow/widower pension. Same chapter also includes the issues of health insurance, where the state is considered as a payer of insurance payments for the dependent child. The following chapter is dealing with the benefits of the second pillar called Social security benefits that might be available for the dependent children. Last chapter is describing the third and the last pillar - the Social help, and its one part that is called Help in material deficiency. This fifth chapter is briefer than the others because the dependent child in this part of Social security system is not direct beneficiary of any of those benefits. The examples and statistics are included in this work.
