Práce se zabývá uváděním začínajících učitelů do praxe s důrazem na učitele prvního stupně základní školy. V teoretické části jsou popsány obecné náležitosti a mechanismy nástupu nového pracovníka, jeho uvedení do funkce, orientace na novém pracovišti, v novém sociálním prostředí a obzvlášť pojem absolvent. Dále pak jsou tyto pojmy konkretizovány na prostředí základní školy, objasněna specifika jak pedagogické profese, tak učitelů prvního stupně, vysvětleny pojmy začínající učitel a vlivy, které na něj působí, uvádějící učitel a okruhy jejich spolupráce. V praktické části bylo rozhovory zjištěno, jak probíhal první rok praxe osmi vybraných učitelek prvního stupně ZŠ z jejich pohledu, nejdůležitější pomáhající činitelé, kterými jsou především uvádějící učitel a další blízcí kolegové, aspekty, které byly překážkou, a doporučení k uvádění začínajících učitelů z dnešního pohledu zkušeného učitele.The thesis deals with the introduction into practice of teachers who are at the start of their career, with focus on teachers at the elementary level of the school system (1st to 5th grade). The theoretical part describes general requisites and mechanisms involved in the commencement of work of the new employee, his/her introduction into the job, orientation in the new workplace and new social environment, and special attention is paid to the term "graduate". These basic terms are illustrated against the environment of the elementary school and specific features of pedagogical profession and of elementary school teachers are explained, as well as the term "beginning teachers" and influences affecting their performance, the introducing teacher and areas of mutual cooperation. The practical part consists of interviews with eight selected elementary school teachers, who provided their views of the first year of practice, including the most important supportive factors, i.e. the introducing teacher and other close colleagues, as well as hindering aspects, followed with recommendations for introducing beginning teachers from the viewpoint of an experienced teacher.
