Tématem mé práce je komentovaný překlad čtyř povídek brazilské autorky Lygie Fagundes Telles: Lua crescente em Amsterda (Srpek měsíce v Amsterdamu,Noturno amarelo (Žluté nocturno, O muro (Zed´) a Verde lagarto amarelo (Zelená žlutá ještěrka). Tyto povídky vystihují typickou charakteristiku autorčiny tvorby. Práce je rozdělena do tří tématických celků. V první uvádím autorčinu biografii, její dílo, ocenění a styl. Ve druhé části předkládám vlastní překlad povídek do češtimy a ve třetí části překlady komentuji na různých rovinách jazyka a uvádím překladatelské problémy vzniklé jinou povahou češtiny a portugalštiny. Cílem práce je ucelené představení autorky čtenáři, který ji doposud neznal.The topic of this thesis is a commented translation of four short stories of a Brazilian author Lygia Fagundes Telles:Lua crescente em Amsterda,Noturno amarelo,O muro and Verde lagarto amarelo. These short stories depict typical characteristics of the author. The thesis is divided into three thematic sections. In the first one I present the author's biography, work, awards and style. In the second section I provide my own translations and in the third one I comment on the translations on various levels of linguistics and I point out several issues of translation that have arisen due to different natures of both Czech and Portuguese. The aim of the thesis is an overall introduction of the author to the reader who has not known her until now.
