Cílem této práce je zachytit vývoj hraničních sporů mezi Čínou a SSSR/Ruskem v letech 1945 - 2005. Důraz je kladen na ozbrojený konflikt na ostrově Damanskij z března 1969. Od něj se odvíjí řešení hraničních sporů v následujících letech a definitivní vymezení průchodu hraniční linie. Práce je rozdělena na několik částí. Úvodní část je věnována krátkému pohledu před rok 1945. Další část sleduje vývoj po 2. světové válce, od období spolupráce SSSR s ČLR, přes sovětsko-čínskou roztržku, až po stupňující se situaci na společné hranici. Následující část popisuje ozbrojený konflikt na ostrově Damanskij a boje na dalších místech sovětsko-čínské hranice. V poslední části je sledován vývoj v otázce konečného řešení hraničních sporů mezi Ruskem a Čínou.In my bachelor's study, I have tried to focus on the boundary disputes between China and USSR/Russia in the years 1945 - 2005. I have focused mainly on the border incident on Damanskij Island in March 1969. From this moment the settlement of boundary disputes started, but it was long and complicated process. My study is divided into several sections. In the first two chapters I am trying to describe the situation between China and Russia before the Second World War. The next chapters are dedicated to post-war period, when USSR and China used to cooperate and their relations were on a high level. In the mid-fifties their relations chilled rapidly. The following chapters are about growing tension and escalating situation on the Sino-Soviet border. In the 1969 border provocations changed into armed border conflict, as a result of long-lasting unsolved problems. I pay attention to these conflicts. In the last few chapters I try to depict next periods, when China and Russia, after years of struggling at the beginning, finally tried to resolve the boundary disputes. The relations of both countries improved markedly. In 2004 they finally succeeded to delimit their border completely.
