The second part discusses the philosophy of Senegalese President Léopold Sédar Senghor. Within the field of his philosophy we have tried to point out the proposed solutions to difficult issues, to find elements of Bergsonism, hermeneutics and socialism in it, and to present his compromise solution to the relationship between Africa and Western civilization.
