Cílem této bakalářské diplomové práce je analýza dramatu Las paces de los Reyes y Judía de Toledo významného španělského dramatika Lope de Vegy. Drama je zasazeno do kontextu autorovy tvorby a následně detailně analyzováno. Velká pozornost se soustředí zejména na problematickou strukturu a tematickou a symbolickou rovinu. Analýzu uzavírá hodnocení díla. Pozornost je věnována také vzniku legendy o lásce kastilského krále Alfonse VIII a krásné Židovky. Důraz je kladen na skutečnost, že to byl právě Lope de Vega, který uvedl legendu do španělské literatury a stal se tak opravdovým tvůrcem mýtu, následovaným mnoha dalšími autory.The aim of this thesis is the analysis of the drama Las paces de los Reyes y Judía de Toledo of the significant Spanish dramatist Lope de Vega. The drama is situated into the context of the work of the author and after that the drama is analysed in detail. The attention is concentrated especially on the problematic structure and on the thematic and symbolical segments. The evaluation of the drama concludes the analisis. The attention is paid also to the creation of the legend of the love between Alfonso VIII and a beautiful Jewess. The emphasis is put on the fact that Lope de Vega was the author who presented the legend into the Spanish literature and became the true creator of the myth, following by many other authors.
