Práce se zaměřuje na funkci dlouhé hlavy bicepsu brachii a jejího podílu na stabilitě glenohumerálního kloubu. Jsou zde popsány rizikové faktory vzniku bicipitálních lézí, diagnostika, prevence a také léčba. Součástí je popis struktur podílejících se na stabilitě ramenního kloubu.This work focuses on function of the long head of biceps brachii and its role on the stability of the glenohumeral joint. There are described risk factors leading to bicipital lesions, diagnostic, prevention and treatment. Furthermore, the work includes informations about other stabilizers of the glenohumeral joint.
