Diabetes mellitus 2. typu je závažným zdravotním a společenským problémem dnešní doby. Metabolické a kardiovaskulární změny při diabetu 2. typu mohou negativně ovlivňovat kvalitu života pacientů. Pacienti potřebují komplexní léčbu, která zahrnuje i pohybovou aktivitou. Ta může příznivě ovlivnit metabolické děje a zmírnit kardiovaskulární a jiné komplikace. Práce obsahuje přehled účinků akutní a dlouhodobé pohybové aktivity u pacientů s diabetem 2. typu v oblasti metabolické a kardiovaskulární. Práce se dále zabývá kontraindikacemi pohybové aktivity u těchto pacientů a zahrnuje zásady pohybové preskripce. V práci je zmíněna problematika motivace k pohybové aktivitě a další pohyb limitující faktory související s diabetem 2. typu. Součástí je kazuistika pacienta s diabetem 2. typu.Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a serious health and social problem of modern time. The metabolic and cardiovascular changes during type 2 diabetes can have a negative influence on the life quality of the patients. The patients need a complex treatment including also physical activity which can have a positive influence on the metabolic processes and can relieve cardiovascular and other complications. The work contains an overview of effects the acute and long-term physical activity has on the metabolic and cardiovascular system of 2 type diabetes patients. The thesis also deals with the contraindications of physical activity in these patients and contains the principles of prescription of physical activity. This paper further on mentions the issue of motivation for physical activity and further movement restricting the 2 type diabetes related factors. One part of the thesis is the case history of a patient suffering from 2 type diabetes.
