Předmětem bakalářské práce je pohled nad problematikou kojení v globálním měřítku. Cílem práce bylo vytvořit přehledovou studii o problematice kojení. Bakalářská práce rozebírá obsah, povahu, formy a techniky kojení, včetně alternativního způsobu výživy novorozence. V souvislosti s novodobým náhledem na význam kojení ve společnosti, sleduje proces edukace a roli porodní asistentky v ní. Práce se snaží poskytnout jasný a srozumitelný návod jak postupovat, aby kojení trvalo co nejdelší dobu. Vysvětluje, z jakých možností je možné čerpat, když laktace nefunguje či je jinak problematická. Dále práce porovnává jednotlivé náhledy předních osobností zabývajících se problematikou kojení. Je to ucelený soubor informací vycházející od historie kojení, přes současné zjištěné poznatky o kojení, laktačního poradenství a edukace kojení.The bachelor thesis deals with the current view of the issue of breastfeeding in global. It analyses the content, nature, forms and techniques of breastfeeding, including the alternative way of a newborn nurturing. In connection with the modern view of the importance of breastfeeding in the society, the thesis also monitors the education processes and the role of midwifery in the process of education. The thesis attempts to lay a clear and understandable guide for breastfeeding to be continued for as long a time as possible. The thesis explains which possibilities and solutions there are for mothers when the lactation does not work or is in any other way problematic. The thesis also compares individual approaches of various recognized experts in the field of breastfeeding. The thesis is a comprehensive guide compiling the information on history of breastfeeding, contemporary breastfeeding knowledge, breastfeeding advisory to breastfeeding education.
