Práce je svým obsahem zaměřena na zhodnocení ekonomického zdraví společnosti Sporten a.s. V rámci teoreticko-praktického diskurzu podává základní vodítka k této problematice. Jedná se o kvantitativní výzkumnou práci opírající se o metody ekonomické a finanční analýzy. Cílem je z výše popsaného hlediska analyzovat společnost Sporten a.s. na základě údajů získaných z účetních výkazů, jež podléhají ze zákona zveřejnění, v časovém horizontu let 2006 ? 2010. Výsledkem práce je rozpoznání slabých stránek společnosti, popis jejich příčin a projevů a v neposlední řadě návrh možných opatření směřujících k jejich odstranění.This thesis concentrates on evaluation of the economic situation in the joint-stock company Sporten a.s. Basic facts to this issue are given within the theoretical-practical discourse. This thesis is a quantitative research which is based on methods of economic and financial analyses. The aim of this work is to analyze the joint-stock company Sporten a.s. from the point of view mentioned above. The analysis is based on accounting statement data from the period of 2006-2010, which are legally obliged to be published. This work results in the detection of company?s weak points, description of the causes and the manifestations, and last but not least, it suggests possible remedial measures leading to the elimination of these weak points.
