Tato magisterská diplomová práce předkládá analýzu volební úspěšnosti Britské národní strany. Cílem této práce je předložit faktory, které ovlivňují volební úspěšnost této strany na různých geografických úrovních. Nejprve je analyzována neúspěšnost strany ve volbách do Westminsteru na celostátní úrovni a úspěšnosti na úrovni volebních obvodů. Následně je analyzovaná ve volbách evropských a volbách do místních zastupitelstev. Práce dokáže lineární vztah mezi volbami do Westminsteru, lokálních a Evropských. Ve volbách do Westminsteru byly faktory, které zapříčiňují neúspěšnost této strany nalezeny volební systém a legitimita strany. Na úrovni volebních obvodů byla prokázaná silná korelace s nezaměstnaností a vzdělaností obyvatelstva a dále pak slabá korelace s urbanizací oblasti a etnickým složením obyvatelstva. V lokálních volbách byly nalezeny stejné faktory, přičemž jako další byl nalezen vztah mezi velikostí minority obyvatel z Bangladéše a Pákistánu. Ve volbách do Evropského parlamentu byly za klíčové nalezeny faktory nezaměstnanost a osobnost lídra v obvodu.This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the electoral support of the British National party. The aim of this work is to introduce factors influencing/which influence electoral support of this party at different geographical levels. First, the failure of this party is analyzed in elections to Westminster at the national level and success at the level of electoral districts. It is then analyzed in the European elections and elections to local councils. The work proves a linear relationship between elections to Westminster, local councils and to the European parliament. In elections to Westminster have the factors that cause failure of the party found to be the electoral system and party legitimacy. At the level of constituencies have been demonstrated a strong correlation with unemployment and education of the population and the poor correlation with the urbanization and ethnic minorities in the district. In local elections the same factors were found while another was found - a relationship between the size of the minority population from Bangladesh and Pakistan. In the elections to the European Parliament have been found to be key factors unemployment and personality leader in the district.
