Cílem diplomové práce je zařazení románu ...a bude hůř Jana Pelce do kontextu undergroundové tvorby. Pozornost byla věnována také vymezení a periodizaci undergroundu, protože jde o dodnes živý literární fenomén. Rozbor románu byl zaměřen na vývoj postav, reflexi času a prostoru, jazykové prostředky a určení základních motivů. V závěru práce je jako specifický problém zmíněna filmová adaptace románu a její dramaturgická strategie s poukazem na undergroundovou povahu předlohy.The goal of this diploma thesis is to place the novel It´s Gonna get worse by Jan Pelc into the context of the Czech literary underground. The main focus is to define this time period of the underground, because it´s still a living literary phenomenon today. The analysis of the novel is focussed on the evolution of the characters reflecting the time, the place and the language usaje, to set up the basic Themis. At the end of the thesis there is a specific problem mentioned about the film adaptation of the book and her dramatic style that reflects the underground motifs of the novel.
