The thesis deals with the poetry of Vladimír Vokolek. Its aim is to divide the poetry into periods and thus evaluate it while determining the poet's axiology and verse structure. The emphasis is on the author's Catholic tendencies and his relation to the antiquity and, if necessary, to various philosophical systems. Subsequently, it provides an analysis of the relation between the motif level, which is based on the religious and philosophical values, and the other form components of the poet's work.
