Motivací této práce je zachování svědectví o životní cestě Pavla Švandy, která končila touto obětí pro víru a pro zachování životních hodnot. Cílem práce je též poukázat na důležitost smyslu života i na ty, kteří mohou být svým životem inspirací pro následující generace.Contents: The thesis deals with the search for the meaning of life of student Pavel Švanda, who was found at the bottom of the Macocha Abyss in 1981. The thesis does not look for the cause of his death, but looks for the meaning of his life from the perspective of the present. The motivation of this work is to preserve the testimony of the way of life of Pavel Švanda that ended by this sacrifice for the faith and for the conservation of the life values. The aim of the thesis is also to point to the importance of the meaning of life and to point to those who may be with their lifes inspiration for the coming generations. ?
