Osoby s lumbální hernií disku s kořenovým syndromem tvoří značnou část spektra pacientů v ambulanci neurologa, neurochirurga nebo fyzioterapeuta. Cílem této diplomové práce bylo posoudit vliv hernie disku na hodnoty vibračního čití a určit rozdíly hodnot vibračního čití mezi dolní končetinou postiženou a nepostiženou kořenovým drážděním. K vyšetření byl použit přístroj Vibrameter?, typ IV. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 15 probandů (věk 41 ? 12,77 let) s diagnózou hernie disku L4/L5 nebo L5/S1. Kontrolní skupinu tvořilo 15 probandů (věk 37 ? 14,05 let) bez chronických bolestí zad. Statistickou analýzou dat byly zjištěny prokazatelně vyšší hodnoty vibračního čití u probandů s hernií disku. Rozdíly byly nalezeny i při porovnání hodnot vibračního čití mezi končetinou postiženou a nepostiženou kořenovým drážděním, z nichž některé byly statisticky významné. Tato studie poukazuje na možnost využití vyšetření vibračního čití jako nástroje, který může pomoci zkvalitnit diagnostiku a tím i léčebný postup u pacientů s hernií disku.Persons with lumbar disc herniation and nerve - root syndrome form a considerable part of patients spectrum in the neurologist, neurosurgeon physiotherapist clinics. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the influence of disc herniation on the values of vibratory sensation and to determine the values of the vibratory sensation differences between a lower extremity with root syndrom and a lower extremity without nerve - root syndrome. Vibrameter type IV was used for measurements. The research group consisted of 15 probands (aged 41 ? 12,77) with L4/L5 or L5/S1 disc herniation diagnosis. The control group consisted of 15 probands (aged 37 ? 14,05) without any chronic back pain. With the statistical analysis of the values there were found significantly higher vibratory sensation in patiens with disc hernia. The vibratory sensation values when comparing the lower limb with nerve - root syndrome and lower limb without nerve - root syndrome, showed certain differences and some of them were statistically significant. This study indicates the possibility of using vibratory sensation testing as a tool that can help improve the diagnosis and therefore a treatment method for patients with disk hernia.
