Diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou rozdílnosti mužů a žen z pohledu agrese a hostility, mapuje rozdělení agrese a hostility ve věkových skupinách a jemně se dotýká rozdílů agrese a hostility u mužů a žen v daných věkových obdobích. Teoretická část práce je zaměřená na popis agrese a hostility, zabývá se také souvislostí pohlaví a věku s agresí a hostilitou a uvádí některé zahraniční studie na toto téma. Výzkumná část práce je zaměřena na mapování výskytu jednotlivých forem agrese a hostility u mužů a žen a jejich rozdělení ve věkových skupinách. Do výzkumu bylo zahrnuto 327 respondentů z různých krajů České republiky. Data byla získána pomocí inventáře B-D-I. Statistickými výpočty byl zjištěn statisticky významný rozdíl pouze u subškály přímé agrese, kde vyšli agresivnější muži. U celkové agrese a ostatních druhů agrese a hostility nebyl mezi muži a ženami statisticky významný rozdíl nalezen. Byla zjištěna statisticky významná závislost na věkové skupině u subškál přímé agrese, resentimentu, podezíravosti a verbální agrese. To naznačuje, že se míra celkové agrese s postupem věku nemění, mění se však způsob jejího vyjádření.The thesis deals with differences between men and women in terms of aggression and hostility, mapping the distribution of aggression and hostility in the age groups and briefly describes the differences between male and female aggression and hostility in these ages. The theoretical part is concentrated on description of aggression and hostility, deals also with the relation between sex, age, agression and hostility and introduces some foreign studies on this topic. The research is focused on mapping the occurrence of different forms of aggression and hostility in men and women and their distribution in the age groups. The survey included 327 respondents from various regions of the Czech Rupublic. The data were obtained with Buss-Durkee Inventory. Using statistical calculations, a statistically significant difference was found out only for the direct aggression subscale, shoving that males are more aggresive. As to the overall aggression and other types of agression and hostility no statistically significant difference was estabilished. A statistically significant connection between the age groups was found out in subscales of direct aggression, resentment, suspicion and verbal aggression. This fact indicates that the level of overall aggression does not change with time, but what changes is the way of its expression.
