Tato diplomová práce zkoumá problematiku osobnosti poslanců a senátorů České republiky. Prostřednictvím výzkumu, kterého se zúčastnilo 84 členů Parlamentu ČR, zjišťuje, zda jsou některé osobnostní dimenze pro osobnost politiků typické, a dále se zabývá rozložením kariérových kotev u daných jedinců. Pro shromáždění potřebných dat byly použity Dotazník kariérových kotev a Freiburský osobnostní dotazník, forma K. Na základě výsledků bylo zjištěno, že nejčastější primární kotvou u českých politiků, kteří se výzkumu zúčastnili, je kotva služba, přičemž tato kotva značí v nejširším slova smyslu tendenci snažit se o zlepšení světa na základě víry ve své ideje. Naopak nejméně častou kotvou byla kotva manažerské kompetence. Z hlediska osobnostních dimenzí bylo zjištěno, že sledovaní politikové vykazují zvýšenou míru družnosti, mírnosti, extroverze a maskulinity.This thesis studies the issue of Senators and Members of Parliament of the Czech Republic by conducting a research involving 84 Members of Parliament of the Czech Republic. This thesis determines, whether certain personality dimensions are typical for the personality of politicians and deals with arrangement of career anchors on stated individuals. To gather the necessary data the Career Anchor Inventory and Freiburg Personality Inventory, form K were utilized. The results revealed that the most common primary anchor of the Czech politicians participated in the survey related to the research is the service, where this anchor means in the broadest sense, tend to seek to improve the word by faith in their ideas. On the contrary, the least frequent anchor was the anchor of the managerial competence. In the terms personality dimensions, it was found that the surveyed politicians show increased degree of sociability, moderation, extraversion ad masculinity.
