Teoretická část je zaměřena na osobnost učitel a jeho profesi. Popisuje důležité osobnostní vlastnosti a dovednosti učitele, jeho sociální a profesní role. Specifikuje vyučovací proces a jeho součásti. Popisuje výchovné a vyučovací styly učitele, modely a metody výuky. Výzkumnou část tvoř výsledky dotazníku NEO-Big Five, který zjišťuje osobnostní charakteristiky učitelů a Dotazník vyučovacích stylů ? TSQ. Obecným cílem diplomové práce je zjištění, zda a jak souvisejí jednotlivé faktory osobnosti učitelů základní školy s používáním vyučovacích stylů a jejich složkami s přihlédnutím k pohlaví, věku a délce praxe respondentů. Dále zkoumáme, jak a jestli ve výzkumném souboru existují signifikantní rozdíly u faktorů NEO mezi jednotlivými skupinami probandů vzhledem k věku, délce praxe ve školství a pohlaví. Totéž nás zajímá u vyučovacích stylů. Výzkumný soubor tvoří 135 učitelů základních škol různé velikosti, místa působení. Pedagogové jsou různého věku, délky praxe i aprobace.The theoretical part is focused on the personality of the teacher and his profession. Describes important personality qualities and teacher's skills, his social and professional roles. Specifies the teaching process and it's parts. It also describes the educational and teaching styles of teacher, models and methods of teaching. The research part consists the results of the questionnaire NEO ? Big Five, which discovers personality characteristics of teachers and questionnaire of teaching styles ? TSQ. General objective of the thesis is to determine whether and how relate individual personality factors of elementary school teachers with using of teaching styles and their parts with taking the gender, age and the lenght of the practice of respondents into consideration. Further, we are exploring how and if in the research file exist significant differences in NEO factors between individual groups of respondents due to the age, lenght of practice in the educational system and gender. We are interested in the same thing in teaching styles. The research file consists 135 elementary school teachers from elementary shools of all sizes and places of work. Teachers are in different age and they also have different lenght of practice and level of education.
