Cílem bakalářské práce je posoudit vliv, přínos a úsilí výchovného poradce na základní škole praktické. V teoretické části práce je záměrem popsat zákonné úpravy poradenství, zásady práce, kompetence, možnosti a úlohu výchovného poradce, přiblížit diagnostikování žáků a práci s nimi, ale také historický vývoj výchovného poradenství v České republice. Cílem praktické části je konkrétní práce a úloha vybrané výchovné poradkyně na zmiňovaném druhu základní školy. Práce obsahuje charakteristiku potíží dětí na této škole, se kterými se výchovná poradkyně potýká, způsoby řešení těchto problémů, které jsou zapříčiněny hlavně sociálně patologickými jevy a nesprávnou výchovou. Cílem je i zjistit, zda se výchovná poradkyně zabývá zejména kariérovým poradenstvím a výběrem dalšího vzdělávání, anebo primárně řeší kázeňské problémy žáků.The aim of this bachelory thesis is to assess the impact, benefits and efforts of the educational consultant at the elementary practical school. The theoretical part of the thesis concerns with the legal regulations of counseling, principles of the work, competences, opportunities and the role of the educational consultant. Besides, it seeks to examine the methods of the pupils´ diagnosis, but also the historical development of educational counseling in the Czech Republic. The practical part aims to analyze the concrete work and tasks of the consultant chosen for the mentioned type of the elementary school. Beyond, it deals with the characteristics of the pupils´ problems, which the consultant solves, including the methods how to handle them. These problems are mainly caused by social pathologies and inaccurate upbringing. Finally, the aim is to find out if the consultant rather deals with career counseling related to the later choice of higher education or she primarily solves the pupils´ disciplinary misconduct.
