Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na hrdinky tří románů Jane Austen - Emmu, Elizabeth Bennet a Fanny Price, jejich celkovou charakteristiku, charakteristiku prostředí, ve kterém žijí a také postav, se kterými přicházejí do kontaktu. Srovnání hrdinek jsem provedla na základě jejich vztahů k rodinným příslušníků, autoritám, které představují jejich vyvolení muži, na základě postavení hrdinek ve společenském systému, které ovlivňuje otázku sňatku bez lásky, důležitost finančních prostředků v jejich životech. V neposlední řadě se také zamýšlím nad tím, zda hrdinky Austenové mají feministické tendence.The Thesis is focused on the heroines of the three novels by Jane Austen - Emma, Elizabeth Bennet and Fanny Price, their complete description, the characteristics of the places where they live and the other characters the heroines deal with. The comparisons were made on the base of the relationships between the heroines and other family members, the authorities represented by their suitors and also based on the situation of the heroines within the social system, which tackles the issues as marriage without love, the importance of money in their lives. Last but not least is the question whether the heroines of Jane Austen show some feminist tendencies.
