Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice vzdělávání příslušníků Policie České republiky. V teoretické části se zabývá historickým popisem a analýzou vzdělávacích systému příslušníků bezpečnostních sborů a požadavky které jsou stanoveny pro přijetí uchazeče k bezpečnostním sborům. Seznamuje s legislativní problematikou současného vzdělávání policistů ČR a možnostmi, které mají policisté na úseku profesního a kariérního růstu v závislosti na dosažené praxi a vzdělání. V praktické části analyzuje současné problémy vzdělávání policistů a společně s teoretickou částí vytyčuje směr, kterým by se mělo ubírat vzdělávání policistů, tak aby se vzdělání stalo přínosem pro policejní službu ve prospěch společnosti.This thesis is devoted to training of Police of The Czech Republic. The theoretical part deals with the historical description and analysis of the educational system, the security forces and the requirements prescribed for admission of applicants to the security structures. There are introduced the current legislative issues of training Czech police officers and their possibilities in the field of professional and career advancement based on previous experience and education. In the practical part there are analyzed the current problems of police officers education and together with the theoretical part sets out the direction that should take police training in a more progressive way, so that educational results could represent police service in our society.
