Bakalářská práce popisuje vznik, historický vývoj a současnou podobu Domu dětí a mládeže Bohumín. Je rozdělena do dvou částí, a to části teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části úvodem pojednává o vzniku domů dětí a mládeže v České republice, předpokládané náplni jejich činností a následně v ucelené formě podává informace o činnosti Domu dětí a mládeže Bohumín v jednotlivých obdobích, ve kterých během své krátké, ale bohaté historie provozoval svou činnost. Závěrem práce seznamuje se současnou podobou tohoto zařízení, jeho personálním zabezpečením, vlastní činností a jeho spoluprací s jinými organizacemi města. Jelikož je dům dětí a mládeže nedílnou součástí města Bohumín, je jedna z kapitol věnována také vzniku, historickému vývoji a popisu současné podoby tohoto města. Součástí bakalářské práce jsou také rozhovory s bývalými a současnými zaměstnanci Domu dětí a mládeže Bohumín. V praktické části je provedena analýza vlastního šetření formou dotazníku, ve kterém bylo zjišťováno, jak jsou členové největšího zájmového útvaru v Domě dětí a mládeže Bohumín ? tanečního souboru Kates spokojeni kvalitou a organizací s jim nabízených činností.Bachelor thesis describes the origin, historical development and current form of Bulding children and youth Bohumín. It is divided into two parts, namely the theoretical and practical. The theoretical part discusses the formation of the Bulding Children and Youth in the Czech Republic, assumed contents of their activities and subsequently in a compact form provides information on the activities of Bulding children and youth Bohumín in individual periods, where, during his short but rich history ran its business. In the end of the work introduces the current form of the device, his personal security, his own activities and cooperation with other organizations of the city. Part of the thesis are also interviews with former and current employees of the Bulding Children and youth Bohumín. In the practical part is an analysis of my investigation by way the questionnaires. It was observed that as members of dance groups Kates were satisfied with the quality and organization of activities provided by the Bulding Children and Youth.
