Cílem této bakalářské práce je srovnání situace politiky cyklistické infrastruktury v Nizozemsku a v České republice, především v obci Utrecht a ve Zlínském kraji. Zpočátku se zabývám historií a obecnými fakty v oblasti cykloinfrastruktury. Následně se zaměřuji na celkovou situaci cykloinfrastruktury v obou zemích. Uvádím statistiky a grafy pro názornou ukázku. Porovnávám také propagaci a vzdělání v oblasti cyklistiky ve vybraných oblastech a uvádím projekty, které se přípravují do budoucna. Závěr věnuji nejvýznamnějším shodám a rozdílům, ke kterým jsem v průběhu práce dospěla.The aim of this bachelor thesis is a comparative study of the policy for cycling infrastructure in the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, mainly in Utrecht city and the region of Zlín. At first I concern with history and general facts of cycling infrastructure. Subsequently, I focus on the global situation of cycling infrastructure in the both countries. I present statistics and graphs for the visual demonstration. I compare the promotion and education in the field of cycling in selected areas and I mention projects that are prepared for the future. Conclusion is devoted to the most important similarities and differences, which I reached in the course of this thesis.
