Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem Her Commonwealthu na město Dillí s důrazem na infrastrukturu. V úvodu se věnuje společenství Commonwealth, Hrám Commonwealthu a jejich historii. V následující kapitole práce pojednává o poslední velké sportovní události v Dillí, tedy Asijských Hrách v roce 1982. Další část této kapitoly se zabývá samotným výběrem místa pro pořádání Her Commonwealthu a rozebírá podání ţádosti Dillí o pořádání těchto Her. Stěţejním obsahem práce je plánování a příprava samotného města na Hry Commonwealthu v Dillí ve třech oblastech - sportovní vesnici, městské infrastruktuře a sportovní infrastruktuře. Následující kapitoly hodnotí rozpočet Her Commonwealthu a řeší samotný průběh Her. Na závěr jsou v práci shrnuty samotné dopady na město Dillí.The thesis deals with the impact of Commonwealth Games on Delhi city, with an emphasis on its infrastructure. The introduction concerns The Commonwealth of Nations, the Commonwealth Games and their history. The following chapter treats of the last great sport event in Delhi, the Asian Games in 1982. Another part of this chapter deals with the actual choice of venue for Commonwealth Games and discusses the application of Delhi to host these Games. The main content of the work is planning and preparation of the Commonwealth Games in Delhi in three areas - games village, urban infrastructure and sport infrastructure. The following chapters assesses the Commonwealth Games budget and resolves the course of the Games. Closing chapter summarizes the impact on the city of Delhi.
