Práce sleduje vývoj architektury v Olomouci po roce 1989. Práce se skládá ze tří kapitol: Minulost, Přítomnost a Budoucnost. První kapitola sleduje architektonický vývoj mezi lety 1900-1989. Druhá kapitola sleduje vývoj do roku 1989. A třetí kapitola uvádí projekty, které jsou ve výstavbě nebo ve fázi projektu. Následuje katalog obsahující 16 vybraných staveb. Jako materiálová základna sloužil především denní tisk z daného časového úseku, který odrážel názory občanů na danou problematiku. Součástí práce je mapa zobrazující polohu jednotlivých staveb z katalogu.This thesis focuses on the development of architecture in Olomouc since 1989. The thesis consist of three parts: the Past, the Present and the Future. In the first chapter the growth of architectural tendencies between 1900 - 1989. The second chapter covers the development until the year of 2011. The last chapter tries to define both future and underconstruction projects. The index mentions 16 selected constructions. All available newspaper articles relating to the topic were examined in orded to cover the wide range of the problem. Also the articles provide Olomouc citizens' opinions on the matter. The location of the projects can be viewed in the index too.
