Diplomová práce se snaží nalézt dnešní význam manželství. V teoretické části je nastíněn právní, historický a vědecký kontext instituce manželství a potažmo rodiny. Dále je zde popsán současný stav manželství a rodiny a vybraná dilemata, která s volbou manželství souvisí. Následující praktická část pak hledá skutečné motivace a demotivace dnešních mladých lidí (ve věku 18-35 let) k vstupu do manželství.The thesis focuses on finding the meaning of marriage nowadays. There is legal, historical and scientific context of the institution of marriage and family in the theoretical part. The thesis also deals with the current state of marriage and family and chosen topics that relate to the choice of marriage. The following practical part focuses on finding young people´s (aged 18-35) real motivation and discouragement from entering marriage.
